William Bradshaw was born at Nottingham in 1893, the son of James and Letitia Bradshaw of 21 Radford Grove Lane, Nottingham. He worked as a Fitter with a building company prior to enlistment. Seeing service in France in 1916 Bradshaw fought at the Somme and was killed in action likely at the fighting around Arrow Head Copse on 20 July 1916. He is buried at Guillemont Road Cemetery; sold together with copied research including census details, M.I.C. and Commonwealth War Graves details.
