1871 A Royal Licence allowing a Queen's Counsel, William Digby Seymour QC, MP, to appear for the defence in a case of forged railway tickets. Boldly signed by the Queen "Victoria R" at the top of the first page, with her official seal and a ten shilling embossed duty.
