1842 (1 October) vellum letters patent in the Prince's name appointing George Freeth Steward of the Lordship and Manor of Kennington, with original blue ribbon though lacking seal. Some foxing as to be expected otherwise good. Prince Albert Edward was eleven months of age at the time of this document, making it among the earliest issued under his name.
