1749 (6 March) Warrant given at St. James' to William Pitt for placing on half pay Cornet Greenham and reduced to Second Lieutenant in the Regiment of Marines, also that Edward Hosca is to become an Ensign in the Regiment of Foot in command of Lt. General Edward Wolfe, in place of Robert Berry who resigns. Signed, very clearly "George R" at top.
Offered together with three military documents (1806, 1810, 1820) concerning forces in Gibraltar and the Mediterranean.
