The Remarkable "Ellerby Area" Hoard of English Gold Coins (1610-1727) | Anne (1702-1714), Post-Union, Guinea, 1712, third draped bust left, rev. crowned shields cruciform, six strings to harp, edge obliquely milled, 8.12g [125.3grns], 5h (PAS: YORYM-18E848 = BM 2019 T668/160 this coin; MCE 224; Farey 550; EGC 476; Spink 3574), some hairline marks before chin and other superficial friction, otherwise bright with much residual lustre, a hint of warm orange framing name somewhat tarnished by the a rim bruise by second N, nevertheless very fine, the reverse rather 'fresh', with NGC 'Ellerby' Certification (#6380983-160)
