IACOBV[S D] : G : MAG : [B]RI : FRA : ET HIB : REX • fourth laureate, draped and cuirassed bust left, small downward ties, smaller XX behind, rev. FACIA | M EOS IN | GENTEM | VNAM (m.m.), no stops, long cross fleury over small crowned square-topped Royal shield with pointed base, bird-headed harp with six strings, 8.97g, 10h, m.m. trefoil [46] (PAS: YORYM-18E848 = BM 2019 T668/28 this coin; Lingford II, 1096a; Schneider II, -; North 2114; Spink 2638B), a superficial scratch across portrait and hairlines from extraction, two flan splits and traces of heavy doubling in obverse legend, almost fine / very fine, the reverse considerably better with residual lustre and hints of orange tone in peripheries, with NGC 'Ellerby' Certification (#6380983-028)
