1965 Orchids (Malaysia series) prepared but unissued, 10c. imperforate proof block of eight (2x4) in issued colours inscribed "singapura" on gummed paper and partially affixed to Harrison presentation card. Extremely rare, only three believed to have been made. Photo

Note: From 1963 to 1965 Singapore was a state of the Malaysian Federation then seceded and became an Independent Republic of Singapore on 9th August 1965.
In the meantime, preparation for the Orchid series in Malaysia for each State had begun and proofs were made for each. As a result the "Singapura" Orchid stamps were never issued.
