1930 (5 July) envelope registered from Kuching to Singapore, flown on the sixth and final stage of the R.A.F. survey flight, franked at 29c., showing "by air mail" label and, on reverse, arrival datestamp for 7 July. Scarce, 5 postcards, 182 registered and 167 ordinary letters were carried. (CJS). Photo

Note: On July 6th S1419 and S1149 left Kuching and flew to their base at Seletar, just outside Singapore. An additional air mail fee of 10 cents per ½ ounce was charged.
