1869 (2 Sept.) entire (stamps floated off) from Glasgow to Rangoon and redirected to Calcutta, marked "Via Marseilles" and showing, on reverse, "Recovered from the wreck of the "Carnatic" label tied by Bombay (12.11) and Calcutta (17.11) datestamps. Photo

Note: on 13 September the P&O steamer "Carnatic" ran aground off Shadwan Island at the mouth of the Gulf of Suez.
