(2) tied by manuscript "Stamped", cancelled by unclear obliterator and showing, on reverse, a fine strike of "Saved from the wreck/of the Ava", the face panel with framed "india/paid" and arrival c.d.s. (11.5); some faults as to be expected. Photo

Note: On 16 February the S.S. "Ava" hit rocks on Pigeon's Island, 80 miles from Trincomalle, Ceylon en route from India.
