Note: The sender of the envelope was Capt. S.H. McLeod Nairn of the 94th Regiment. He fought at Ulundi and against Sekukuni, but was an early casualty of the First Anglo-Boer War and died of his wounds at Bronkhorstspruit on 20 December 1880.
