1935 Birchenough Bridge Opening: 1935 (20 Dec.) envelope addressed to Cape Town bearing Silver Jubilee 2d. tied by the rare "birchenough bridge/s. rhodesia" double-ring d.s. in use for just one day, the day of the bridge's opening, with a second strike alongside; accompanied by the twenty-three page souvenir pamphlet and a contemporary photograph with "Birchenough Bridge Post Office for day of opening only" written in pencil on the reverse; a very fine and historically important trio.
