A group of covers all sent within Southern Africa (24, twelve registered), including 1955 envelope marked "Native Tax O.H.M.S."t sent to The Native Commissioner, Marandellas, bearing 2d. bright green tied by "macheke" double-ring d.s. and with oval "native commissioner/assistant magistrate"P> handstamp in blue, 1956 (15 Feb.) first day envelope to Salisbury bearing 2½d. ochre block of four, 1956 (4 Mar.) first day cover to Dar-es-Salaam bearing 6d. tied by Ndola d.s., 1956 (Oct.)envelope registered to Johannesburg, bearing 2½d. and 6d. tied by "kalulushi" double-ring d.s., 1959 stationery registered envelope from Katete to Germiston bearing 9d. violet tied by Katete d.s. and with Lusaka d.s. alongside, 1959 and 1960 envelopes registered from Belmont, Bulawayo and Fort Victoria, both franked with 1/3d., and 1960 (Sept.) envelope locally addressed and registered at Lusaka bearing 5/-; a good and useful group with some attractive frankings
