Note: The error – which results in the loss of inscriptions, country name and denomination – occurred progressively on the bottom two rows of a 1B pane. Just one example was completely affected on row nine (the others being partially affected) and all except the right most example were affected on row ten. The error exists in a plate single (normally 1B–1B–1B–1B) missing 1B referencing gold.
