1933 (1 Dec.) envelope registered to Ladybrand, Orange Free State bearing Basutoland 1d., 2d. and 3d., in combination with SA 1d., 4d. and 1/- tied by four strikes of "leribe" relief canceller (Scott Type 3a, showing month before date), showing large "leribe" registration handstamp below. 1st December 1933 was the last day of legal usage of Union stamps in Basutoland and the first day of issue of the Basutoland stamps. Month before date very uncommon on relief cancellations, fine and rare. Photo
