1948 native registered cover from Palera to Tikamgarh, with Palera c.d.s. 01/03, partially covered by 4a. Court Fee stamp, evidently added on arrival at Tikamgarh, cancelled by three datestamps; odd ink marks and imperfections though an extraordinary cover. Shortage of the 4a. postage stamp led to the use of the 4a. court fee stamp. This usage was authorized for only a few months, this is one of only two known covers.
