1868 (8 Nov.) entire to USA, posted at Santo Domingo, bearing GB 4d. red (perf trimmed or cut off on three sides) tied by superb, slightly oily, "D26" and "n.y. steamship/10" (10.12) and showing, on reverse, fine "spanish mail packet" and St. Thomas (17.11) datestamps. The only recorded example of "D26" Spanish Mail Packet on cover cancelling GB stamps. S.G. Z191. Photo
