FG alongside 1841 1d. red (2) JF and JD, each with four margins, all tied by black Maltese Crosses to 1842 (23 July) entire letter from Bridge of Earne to Edinburgh, with boxed 'Bridge of Earne' d.s. and receiving d.s. on reverse. Vertical filing fold just crossing JF, this scarcely detracting from the striking appearance of this 4d. bi-colour franking.
