1796 (26 May) entire letter in French from Jersey via Weymouth to Germany, rated "1/7", with two strikes of the curved "jersey" handstamp, London "paid" 28.03 d.s. in red and "d'anglettere" on arrival. Fine with superb wax seal on reverse.
