1762 (16 Aug.) entire letter from Charleston, South Carolina to London, rated "5" (deleted) and "11d", showing manuscript "Ship" with straight-line "clonmell" h.s. below and, on reverse, straight-line "country" h.s. and arrival Bishopmark. An exceptional item, believed to be the only recorded ship letter from Clonmel, probably landed at Dungarvon which was the nearest port to Clonmel. Photo
