1832 (Mar.) plantation report from Berbice to Belfast, marked "p. Rosanna", incorrectly charged "2/8", in the Ship Letter Office this was changed to "4/2" and on arrival this was appealed and the charge reduced to "2/1", showing fine unframed "margate/ship-lre" (S.4) with red London (1.6) and arrival (3.6) on reverse; and 1838 (4 Sept.) entire letter from Demerara to London, rated "1/4" and showing, on reverse just across join, fine reverse step-type "ship letter/margate" in red (S.5a) and arrival datestamp (25.10), adhesive tape stain around where seal removed
