1873? double rate envelope from Covington, La, via Middleton & Co, New York, on the Eliza Bars to Bermuda, bearing 3c. green vertical pair (one with small faults at left) sharing double strike of target obliterator and with despatch datestamp alongside, showing blue crayon "2" ship fee and, on reverse, fine "forwarded by/middleton & co/new york" cachet.
