1782--90 entires ex the Earl of Lonsdale correspondence to London or Westmoreland, comprising 1782 (12 Oct.) entre letter (tear at top of face panel) rated "1/4"? and showing, on reverse, legible "barba/does" (Type PS4) partly overstruck by arrival Bishop mark (16.12); 1783 (10 Sept.) showing unframed "dover/ship lre" and circular-framed "free" in red; 1787 entire charged "2/7", showing unframed "liverpool/ship lre" (S.2) and arrival datestamp (4.5) on reverse; and 1790 entire marked "1oz", rated "1/9", showing poor to fine unframed "weymouth/ship lre" with arrival datestamp (20.9) on reverse. Condition rather mixed
