1884 (29 Jan.) mourning envelope to New York, bearing 1882 perf 12 4d. rose cancelled "B" in oval of bars, showing framed "ship", Norfolk Va. c.d.s.(4.2) "due" h.s. with manuscript "4" alongside and "Due 4" h.s. in blue with, on reverse, U.S. Postage Due 2c. pre-cancelled pair, despatch and arrival datestamps; the envelope with overall soiling and light crease which crosses the Postage Due pair.
