1851 (1 Oct.) entire and 1853 (13 Mar.) entire letter from "Grand Turk, Bahamas" (Turks Islands had been transferred from being part of the Bahamas to being a Dependency of Jamaica three years earlier) to London, the first rated "1/-" and showing Bahamas double-arc d.s. with code "B" on reverse, the second rated "1/-" and showing US handstruck "21"; 1853 (27 Oct.) entire from Eleuthera to London, rated "1/-" and showing very fine Bahamas double-arc d.s. with code "C" on reverse; and 1855 (13 July) entire from Nassau to London, rated "6" and showing fine Bahamas double-arc d.s. with code "A" on reverse
