1781 (14 Mar.) letter from Army Captain Alexander Gray to William Gerard in Islington about the prospects of promotion and the allocation of prize money resulting from the successful attack on the Dutch islands of St. Eustatius, Saba, St. Martin and St. Bartholomew; 1793 (15 Mar.) entire letter ex the Tudway correspondence to Wells, rated "1/-" (deleted) and "1/5" and a very light strike of straight-line "antigua" h.s.; 1795 (10 July) letter from Edward Jones, Manager of Carliles Plantation to its owner Sir Ralph Payne; 1799 (3 Feb.) entire letter ex the Tudway correspondence to Wells, rated "9" and showing unframed "liverpool/ship"; 1826 (11 Feb.) entire letter to Norfolk, rated "2/3" and showing, on reverse, small Antigua fleuron; 1839 (27 Apr.) entire letter originating in Dominica to London, rated "2/2" and showing, on reverse, light small Antigua fleuron; also 1813 (22 Feb.) and 1815 (17 Aug.) entire letters from Scotland and Cobham respectively to Antigua, rated "2/5" and "2/2".
