1863 (11 Jul.) envelope from the Waitahuna Goldfield to Edinburgh, 'via Marseilles' bearing 1d. orange-vermilion and 2d. milky blue strip of three and a single placed overlapping with the 1d. paying the 9d. rate, tied to envelope by barred oval obliterators, fine strike of 'gold field/ otago n.z.'double-ring datestamp on reverse, Dunedin and Edinburgh markings transit and arrival markings alongside; fine and rare.
