The remarkable collection in two albums (in a carton), featuring the whole range of the trials with the different phosphor colours, papers, etc., including ½d. on card (believed to be unique), 2d. (about 350) with several partial impressions and imperfs., also on cover or card (34) (many addressed to C.F. Forster), block of four on Harrison & Son presentation card; 2½d. mint single plus another on cover, 3d. (about 240), on covers or cards (16), also six covers with blank labels in place of the stamps and other covers (approx 90), many associated with phosphor trials; 1971 Harrison phosphor trials (5), De la Rue phosphor trials (6 pairs), etc. A magnificent collection which would be difficult to replicate
