1884 (13 June) an appendix sheet of perforated colour trials headed, "Messrs Thos De La Rue & Co's Scheme/showing the effect which could be obtained by printing eight if the Unified Stamps upon coloured paper on Double Fugitive Purple and Green inks", with 1d. lilac, 1½d. lilac on orange-buff, 2d. purple on yellow, 2½d. purple on pink, 3d. purple on turquoise, 4d. green with the higher values made up of 1½d. purple on bluish tone, 2d. purple on rose, 2½d. green on drab and 3d. purple on deep blue. There are two horizontal folding creases. A delightful and rare page. Photo
