Die 2 (16 dots): 1893 (12 Apr.) part Appendix sheet for fugative ink trials bearing 1d. lilac cancelled by Portsmouth squared circle and another manuscript "De La Rue" in blue ink; both have been brushed with chemicals in an attempt to remove the cancellation, which has, as intended, partially removed a section of the printed ink.
