Plate 2: BF, BG, CG and CH four examples from the same sheet on 1842 (30 May) cover paying the four pence rate up to two ounces, from Shrewsbury to Ellesmere, cancelled by black Maltese Cross, alongside Ellesmere arrival c.d.s. (31.5) neatly impressed, the reverse with Shrewsbury despatch c.d.s., adhesives BF and BG cut into at top left, the other with four margins, some light toning and usual fold not disturbing the pleasant appearance.
