CD, three good to large margins just touched at lower right, on 1840 (24 July) entire from Cromarty to Edinburgh, cancelled by neat red Maltese Cross, alongside endorsed "Prepaid" and with "cromarty" straight-line postmark in black, the reverse with arrival c.d.s.; a couple of light vertical folds including one through the adhesive. A scarce cancel and good appearance. Photo
