State 3: On white wove paper in deep blue with strong ivory head, in a complete sheet of twelve with manuscript legend in the lower margin, "B. Pruss blue plain" (the prussiate of potash was in the ink, giving the strong ivory head); there is also a faint manuscript at top reading, " ... Prussian blue plain" in the hand of Bacon. A fine and desirable sheet. Photo
