R.W. Hume, Musical envelope No. 1, "Robert Burns": 1842 (5 Feb.) depicting the Poet and a wreath of flowers which are hand coloured, from Leith to the Post Master at Dover, bearing 1841 1d. red-brown on blued paper, KJ, tied by black Maltese cross; the flaps bearing the sheet music and lyrics to "O For Ane and Twenty, Tam!", on the reverse the lyrics to "The Exile's Song", some reinforcement along the folds, though highly attractive and rare, one of only two recorded hand-coloured Burns caricatures.
