1877 (5 Mar.) envelope to Paris, bearing (1d.) black vertical pair and 1864 perf. 12½ (4d.) chrome-yellow strip of three, all cancelled "A11" (the 4d. strip not tied), showing red crayon "1/2", despatch "st lucia" double-arc d.s. and, on reverse, "ligne c/paq. fr. no 1" double-ring d.s. (9.3), similar Ligne A d.s. (12.3) and Paris transit c.d.s. in blue; the envelope with some tears on reverse at top caused through opening. An attractive and unusual franking. S.G. 12c, 15. Photo
