1860-2008 mint and used lifetime collection assembled over 75 years of passionate research and selection arranged in eight volumes housed in a box, starting with a range of Great Britain used abroad with values up to 2/-, including 2d. blue plate 12 horizontal pair with watermark inverted; issued stamps almost complete and with many varieties including 1860-81 ½d. selection with shades including a mint 1863-81 ½d. with watermark inverted, 1899-1901 5d. watermark reversed (2, one mint), 1914-21 2/- and 5/- variety nick on top scroll mint, 1921-22 2/- variety lines omitted from scroll mint, 1922 5/- variety lines omitted from scroll mint, 2/- variety broken crown and scroll mint, 2/- variety damaged leaf at bottom right used, 1935 Jubilee 6d. variety extra flagstaff (2, one mint), 1938-43 1½d scarlet variety broken cross (2, one mint), 2/6d. variety damaged value tablet (2, one mint), 1948-53 5/- variety "nt" joined (2, one mint), 1965 6d. variety gold omitted mint, 1966 Churchill 1/- variety gold omitted mint block of four, 1966 Kennedy 3d. variety gold omitted mint block of four; Also few extras including some covers; mixed condition with many fine.
