c.1930s undated stamp-sized composite essay sunk into Bradbury and Wilkinson card (117x163mm.), the frame printed in green, touched up in Chinese white reading "provinces equitoriales / d'abyssinie", the value tablet reading "5", the vignette hand painted in brown and Chinese white depicting a lion among reeds. A seemingly unissued design though highly attractive and unique. Photo
