A collection, most neatly written-up on pages, including a group of photographic essays of rejected designs comprising 1d. by E.C. Henriques and 1d. and 1½d. by E.C. de Souza, two of each, one 1d. by Henriques and one 1½d. by de Souza affixed to pieces of paper giving details of their rejection, two sets of three photographs by Violet Taylor from which the issued design were taken, one of which is signed, the set of three overprinted "specimen" (5 sets, one diagonal ex the Bradbury Wilkinson archives), the set of three in strips of three overprinted "specimen", affixed to piece of ledger and handstamped with large "postes et telegraphes/collection/de/berne/madagascar" cachet in red, mint blocks and used on cover (12 including two to Cayman Islands with Cayman Islands stamps applied as Postage Dues, one to St. Lucia with arrival Postage Due 2d. and one with 1d. tied by fine Jamaica Philatelic Exhibition oval datestamp in violet.
