Plate 41: BH-BI, horizontal pair, good margins on two sides and just touching the frameline at right and left, tied to entire letter by two strikes of the distinctive and rare Channel Islands Maltese Cross, endorsed "by private steamer via southampton" at upper left, "southampton/ ship letter" handstamp on reverse; the envelope with some minor foxing marks barely affecting the adhesives, incredibly rare and the only known multiple cancelled by this Maltese Cross on cover.
