1896 (10 Nov.) stamp-sized die proofs in black for the 18c., 36c. and 1r. values, each showing "seychelles" and value tablet only, affixed to De La Rue day book piece, the 18c. and 36c. struck through with red pen, the piece endorsed in manuscript "Nov 10 60 leads each" and " Dec. 17 1896" to indicate the invoice date. Superb and scarce. Ex the printer's archive.
