1876 (6 May) envelope from Singapore to St. Gallen, marked "Via Marseilles", bearing 8c., 12c. and 30c. vertical pairs (2), all pre-cancelled by part firm's oval chop in blue and cancelled by dumb obliterator, showing unframed "pd", "singapore/paid" c.d.s. and French maritime octagonal-framed d.s., all in red, with French T.P.O. and Swiss datestamps on reverse; the envelope with faults including stains, nevertheless a rare and remarkable franking
