1926-33, two covers, the first 1926 (20 Oct.) envelope from Kirkuk to England bearing 6a. greenish blue, handstamped "7½d. / I.S. / Q" and franked by a further G.B. ½d., 2d (2) and 3d. postage dues; the second 1933 (5 July) Karachi-Calcutta first airmail envelope from Bagdad to Calcutta bearing 1932 (1-12 April) 10f. on 2a. orange variety no space between "10" and "Fils", 1932 (9 May-June) 3f. green and 25f. mauve, tied by Baghdad c.d.s. and Frist Airmail cachet with further "extension of england-india air service / by / imperial airways ltd." cachet in violet and Baghdad registered label numbered 132, signed Stephen Smith on reverse. the first with some faults, though the latter attractive and an interesting pair.
