1897 (Dec.) envelope to Brest franked 15c., posted on a ship calling at Dakar as Paquebot mail, straight line "paquebot" cancellation, on reverse Military cachet, Lisbon transit (3.1.98) and Finistere arrival (9.1); fine. The only military concession rate letter which travelled via the Paquebot system from any of the French Colonies!
