1881 (20 May) envelope to Yonne bearing General Issues 1871-76 thick figures 15c. (touched at places) tied by Guadeloupe/Saint Claude datestamp with octagonal Corr. D. Armees/Lig. B. Paq. Fr. below, on reverse Military endorsement and octagonal Corr. D'Armees/Basse Terre datestamp; some staining, otherwise very fine and an extremely rare and highly unusual Military from this village being denoted by the rare transit markings. illustrated in the Yvert catalogue 2017 (page 112), with a catalogue value of €1,400."
