(2, one bisected diagonally) with the colour characteristic of the last printing of the 2c., faintly cancelled and showing despatch datestamp at left; the envelope with some small peripheral faults. Note: Only five single rate domestic letters paid for with a bisected Large Queen 2c. are recorded by Duckworth in "The Large Queen Stamps of Canada and Their Use, 1868-1872", all of which are used from Nova Scotia.
