1d. on 3pf. brown with variety "I" for "1", [Setting 12, position D], unused with large part original gum; small hinge thin at top which does not detract from fine appearance. A rarity with just five unused examples recorded by Gibbs. Holcombe Certificate (1990) and handstamped Kiliian on reverse. S.G. 1d, £3,500. Photo
