REX •, first horseman left, ornately decorated caparison, sword over right shoulder breaking inner circle, plume on head-dress and on housing, rev. (m.m.) CHRISTO • AVSPICE • REGNO • square-topped and garnished shield over cross fourchée, 29.42g, 7h, m.m. lys (Hawkins 1a; Francis 1a; FRC II/I; Brooker 231 same dies; Miller 8 same dies; North 2190; Spink 2753), some metal stressing and small edge splits at 3 o'clock, the King's face softly struck yet the Horse with much detail, lightly cabinet toned, almost very fine, the reverse pleasingly so, scarce
