REGINA, crowned bust 3C left, wearing decorated bodice, rev. + SCVTVM : FIDEI : PROTEGET : EAM •, crowned square-topped shield, dividing E-R, 5.62g, 2h, m.m. cross-crosslet (Schneider I, 738; Brown & Comber G6; North 1982; Spink 2520), very small flan split at edge to G of ANG and a scarcely-perceptible crease running through flan from 3 to 9 o'clock, otherwise pleasingly struck-up and handsomely uniform across key devices, a pleasingly bold very fine, scarce in this honest state
