Chariot and rider flying left, 7.07g (LT 7886; DT 63-68; VA 12-1; Scheers, 8, Pl. 3, no. 61-68; Sills 286-303; Spink 2; ABC 4 the plate coin), a small nick at reverse ten o'clock and surfaces evenly rubbed, otherwise a magnificent example of this iconic coinage, beautifully centred and pleasingly uniform, a joyful very fine, very rare and with an esteemed pedigree
