CROWNED SEP: 8 1831., tiara'd head right, edge plain, 33mm., 27.46g, 12h (Eimer 1251; BHM 1475), deft marks in field and on Adelaide's chin, otherwise a beautifully honest specimen with original honey-golden tone overlying brilliant surfaces, subtle cabinet friction but undoubtedly choice, good extremely fine, rare with only 965 medals issued in this metal
